Maritza Miranda Saenz has led our organization through some of the most tumultuous times in recent memory. Despite a global pandemic and a fire-bombed building, her leadership took the Maricopa County Democratic Party (MCDP) to new heights. As we began our search for a new Executive Director (ED), we realized we had some massive shoes to fill. Soon after posting our ED listing, we received resumés from several qualified candidates who made our selection process challenging. Despite difficult deliberation and constant back-and-forth, our interview committee reached a consensus.

Ne’Lexia dazzled our interview committee. During the hiring process, we noticed she is insightful, analytical, and a problem-solver. We’re confident she’s the right person to lead MCDP.
