My name is Yvonne Gooch Urquiza, and I am an active PC in Legislative District 22.

I am an active member of the Arizona Democratic Party's Native American Caucus, and hail from the great Tohono O’odham Nation.

I live in Tolleson in the beautiful West Valley. I spent part of my life in the San Francisco area, where I learned some valuable lessons and sprouted my progressive roots.

It was watching great female role models like Diane Feinstein that showed me having a seat at the table makes a huge difference.

Another amazing woman in my life, who has been a great influence for me, is my mom. She has served on the Tohono O’odham Nation’s District and Legislative Councils since 1984.

I want to follow in my mon's footsteps by serving my county and my community, and that is why I am asking for your vote to be MCDP's Second Vice Chair.
