Ne'Lexia Galloway

As Outreach Representative for Congressman Ruben Gallego, Ne’Lexia Galloway has monitored, reviewed, and recommended policies that affect directly impacted communities. She has been successful in igniting passion and engaging others to build a more equitable community. She has extensive political experience in developing campaign plans, field plans, and fundraising plans for individuals in electoral campaigns across the state of Arizona. Since 2018, she has trained the next generation of leaders in community and constituent engagement with Leading For Change and launched corporate programs with American Family Insurance to promote employee civic engagement. In 2019, Ne’Lexia, as the Arizona State Manager for the DNC Organizing Corps 2020 program, directed a team of 24 individuals that planned, led, and executed community organizing that resulted in a 10% voter turnout increase for the 2020 presidential election, as well as assisted MCDP with the voter purge list. Ne’Lexia has demonstrated her commitment to growth and development in multiple communities’ while being a trusted game changer that handles a high level of responsibility. As the Chair of the Arizona Democratic Party Young Black Caucus, she developed programming to cultivate, mentor, and train young black leaders. She also created a strategy to increase diversity and inclusion on boards and commissions in the State of Arizona for Black millennials, as well as advance opportunities for women. In an effort to increase millennial civic awareness and involvement, Ne’Lexia developed the “In Living Color” Civic Participation Conference in partnership with the State of Black Arizona and Maricopa Community College District. She continued her efforts in 2020 by creating the largest virtual Get Out to Vote rally in Arizona, for Tomorrow We Vote, featuring Secretary Julian Castro, Mark Ruffalo (The Hulk), Congresswoman Cori Bush, Angelica Ross, and others. She has infused her knowledge and experience into communities to develop tools and techniques to promote civic education, create leadership opportunities, and train communities on governance, policy, and politics. She is a trusted member of the community and recognized for her commitment in engaging all generations in progressive politics. Ne’Lexia has a Master’s in Public Administration from Grand Canyon University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, with a specialization in Leadership and Organization from Howard Payne University.
